Today's Carpet Capital Aviation, Inc represents more than 60 years of preserving and promoting general aviation
in Dalton, Ga. As a continuation of P&M Flying Service, Floyd Price incorporated Carpet Capital Aviation, Inc in
the summer of 1974. He and Wyatt Mullinax had formed P&M Flying Service in 1946 when the City of Dalton relocated
the airport from Cleveland highway to the present location.
The current owner/operators,
Harvey and Nancy Halman, joined CCA in 1974. In 1979, Harvey became President of CCA, Inc as well as airport manager, upon
Floyd's retirement. Floyd and Harvey served sequentially as FAA Designated Flight Examiner. Harvey and
Nancy also served as FAA Written Test Examiners for a time.
As airport Manager, Harvey
has used his education and skills and his love of aviation to promote growth in the North Georgia area. He has always
considered the Dalton Airport to be the "front door of the community".
Bringing this and other experience to today's world of general aviation, we are dedicated to serving our
customers' needs, and our goal is 100% customer satisfaction. We
strive to bring you the best in quality service.
